During his education, Dr. Kouyoumdjian began giving back to his profession as an associate professor to incoming dental students and continuing on as a volunteer faculty member at USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Kouyoumdjian has received numerous awards and was honored with the Rex Ingram Award for outstanding achievement in clinical dentistry and research during the four-year program. He was also recognized by the Academy of Osseointegration for his demonstrated interest furthering research, and education in oral implantology.

Dr. Kouyoumdjian is dedicated to improving his skills by completing extensive continuing education courses and teaching. He has studied and presented clinics in esthetic dentistry at the California Dental Association meetings, and is a lecturer providing continuing education to other health care practitioners. Dr. Kouyoumdjian also has been involved with the Spear Institute at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, a $50 million learning facility with world-class standards and widely regarded as one of the most trusted and respected dental centers in the world. Dr. Kouyoumdjian has completed Mastering Occlusion, as well as many of the courses offered by the Spear Institute such as State of the Art of Esthetics. Dr. Kouyoumdjian has been a visiting faculty member of the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.

Dr. Kouyoumdjian’s commitment to excellence in dentistry is reflected in the honors he has received from his colleagues at the USC Dental Alumni Association, as well as the testaments of his patients. Dr. Kouyoumdjian has special interest and extensive training in esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Kouyoumdjian is an active member in the greater dental community.
