The health and well-being of our patients, dental care providers and employees is the top priority of Studio City Dental Center during this time of national crisis. We have been actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic as it progresses and have made the decision to close our offices to routine visits and regular checkups. We are, however, still open for emergency visits only.
Rest assured, your health and well-being is our top priority. As such, we are being diligent about cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces on a regular basis. Our hygienists and dentists have always placed a high importance on safety in the workplace, so our practice of wearing masks and gloves during all patient interactions will remain in place.
During this difficult time, we want to assure you that we have developed a strategy of hygiene throughout our office to address the issue as it evolves. We remain committed to ensuring our patients continue to get the oral care and treatment they need, even if on an emergency basis.
If you had a regularly scheduled cleaning or follow-up appointment, out staff is working hard to reach out to all of you and get those appointments rescheduled. It is our sincere hope that we can reschedule all outstanding appointments in a timely manner so as to maintain the oral health of our patients.
If you experience a dental emergency, such as a severe tooth ache, chipped tooth, missing tooth or suspect you have an infection, call us first at 818-762-2977. We will ask questions to assess your situation and then advise you to come into our office for emergency dental work.
Our dental professionals are doing all they can to ensure your health and safety. We ask for your patience during this time. We are following the same strict cleaning and disinfection strategies we regularly employ, with the added precaution of increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, reducing potential exposure in crowded waiting rooms, and extra care when assisting patients who may display respiratory symptoms.
During this uncertain time, we remain steadfast in our commitment to hygiene – oral and otherwise. Continue to do all the things you have been doing to keep yourself safe. Wash your hands frequently. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your sleeve if you cough or sneeze. If you don’t feel good, stay at home and avoid going out.
Because there is a strong connection between oral health and overall health, you have to do all you can to remain healthy. That includes brushing, flossing, using mouthwash, and eating healthy foods. Remember: being proactive about your oral health keeps your body’s natural defenses going strong.
Studio City Dental Center will continue to actively monitor information about Coronavirus from the CDC, ADA and other public health agencies. Our top priority is to continue meeting the needs of our patients in the safest ways possible. If you have further questions, please contact us at 818-762-2977.
